Rafiq al-Ilm is an educational quiz and reference app. Content is compiled from published collections of hadith and the Qur'an with their published gradings, and is reviewed on an ongoing basis. It is provided for learning purposes.
The app reports the texts and the gradings of named scholars; it does not issue religious rulings or authenticity verdicts of its own. Where a reference is not found, this does not mean a narration is fabricated. For rulings and detailed guidance, consult qualified scholars.
The app works with an anonymous account created automatically; you may optionally link an email address. You are responsible for the security of your email account. One free-trial coupon may be used per account; attempts to circumvent this may result in entitlement removal.
Pro subscriptions (monthly or yearly) are billed and managed by Google Play under Google's terms. Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Google Play subscription settings; refunds are handled through Google Play's refund policies. Coupon-based trials and discounts are promotional and may be modified or withdrawn for new redemptions at any time.
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape or bulk-extract content, reverse-engineer the app beyond what applicable law permits, or abuse the reporting and coupon systems.
The Qur'anic text and classical hadith texts are the heritage of the ummah. Translations, gradings, app software, design and compiled question content are subject to their respective rights holders' terms, including ours. Personal, non-commercial use within the app is permitted.
We may update, change or discontinue features. We aim for accuracy and continuity but the service is provided "as is" without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
